Players Sound off on Dell Technologies Match Play gifts

At every event, players and caddies receive cool gifts from the host organization as an official welcome to the event. Generally, the gift is something that represents the community or the host organization, but this week's host, Dell Technologies, took the gift to another level completely embodying Austin in the perfect memento.

Austin, Texas, home of our title sponsor Dell Technologies, is known as the Live Music Capital of the World and boasts not only the largest number of music venues per capita but also some of the largest live music festivals each year. It's no surprise, then, that the larger than life guitars you see around the city and in the airports were the perfect inspiration for this year's player and caddie gift from the title sponsor, Dell Technologies. After all, keeping it weird isn't the only thing Austin does well.

Each player received a custom guitar wrapped with picturesque views of Austin. The scenes were chosen to be reflective of the beauty of the host town and bring that together with the great experience of the Dell Technologies Match Play overall.

In addition to receiving their own instrument - we know we're not alone in being on the lookout for home videos of the guys testing their skills - players signed 6-foot tall guitars that will be placed around the course for fans to take selfies with.
