"15 Days of Giving" for holiday ticket purchases

AUSTIN, Texas – As a thank you to the loyal fans that have contributed to two consecutive years of sell outs, World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play officials are pleased to announce the inaugural “15 Days of Giving”, where fans purchasing tickets will be rewarded with the opportunity to win exclusive prizes daily. Prizes include a signed Jordan Spieth pin flag, inside-the-ropes access opportunities, tournament apparel, a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 2-in-1 laptop and more.

Starting Nov. 27 through Dec. 15, fans purchasing weekly grounds tickets ($405 plus taxes and fees) or ULTRA Club weekly passes ($625 plus taxes and fees) for the 2018 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play will be automatically entered into a daily drawing for 15 days of prizes. Fans can also be entered to win by visiting DellTechnologiesMatchPlay.com. The winners will be drawn and announced at the conclusion of each week on the tournament’s Twitter account (@DellMatchPlay).

With total onsite attendance again limited to 10,000 per day (Wednesday, March 21 -Sunday, March 25) for an optimal experience for spectators, tickets are expected to sell out quickly for a third consecutive year.

“For the holidays, we think there’s no better gift idea than giving a front row seat to the see world’s best in Austin,” said Executive Director Jordan Uppleger. “With tickets expected to sell out soon, we wanted to reward the fans that continue to purchase their tickets early this holiday season with a chance to win these exclusive prizes.”

Since its inception, the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play has generated more than $17 million for charity. The tournament announced in early October that the 2017 edition raised over $1.1 million for five Austin-based charities – Austin Parks Foundation, Boys & Girls Club of the Austin Area, The First Tee of Greater Austin, Helping Hand Home for Children, and Keep Austin Beautiful.

For the 2018 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, a limited number of tickets remain available and can be purchased at DellTechnologiesMatchPlay.com or by calling 844-868-7465.

Those who purchase tickets are reminded that youth 18 and under will be admitted free all week when accompanied by a ticketed adult (one free youth ticket per each adult ticket will be available). This free ticket only applies for grounds tickets and not upgraded hospitality options. Limited hospitality opportunities remain available. The top 64 players in the Official World Golf Ranking will descend upon Austin in March 2018 to square off in a rare match-play format. The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play field annually consists of the very best players from around the world from all Tours. It is a given that fans attending the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play will see players like Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler, Jason Day, Sergio Garcia and Hideki Matsuyama in the field.

The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play is one of the most elite and exciting tournaments on golf’s calendar as the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play is one in a series of four World Golf Championships events sanctioned and organized by the operational committee of the International Federation of PGA Tours, which includes the Asian Tour, European Tour, Japan Golf Tour, PGA TOUR, PGA Tour of Australasia and Sunshine Tour.
